Head in the Clouds was an kinetic installation at International House Philadelphia, January though March 2009. The central hanging piece was propelled by the continuous flow of air from the large fan below. The upward moving air pushed the marge mylar rotor blades forwards , spinning the sculpture counterclockwise. The forward movement , in turn, spun the smaller propellers and scattered reflected blue light across the room. |
