PRIAMP is hand-made
vacuum tube preamplifier with a built in dock for the iphone or ipod.
It works great as a phono preamp (with added R.I.A.A. eq) but was
primarily designed to warm up and improve the sound quality from
digital sources, like highly compressed music and video files. It
simply gets plugged in the AUX jack of your
home stereo. Pretty much any stereo unit decent enough to have an AUX jack will
clearly show an improvement in tone and depth.
Use the rear RCA inputs and
dual channel selector to connect anything with an audio “out” jack. Get
creative! (By patching the R “out” to the L “in” and using 1/4" to RCA adapters, I
use mine as a wicked four gain-stage guitar preamp. Cranking the volume
yields a surprising amount of creamy tube distortion!)
The dock has a built in charger and is fully
compatible with the iphone, ipod touch and various ipod varieties.
Also available without the dock, for non-apple users. |

docks for your project! Its the
hardest part to make!
Save yourself the headache and a lot of work.
Each cherry, hardwood dock has been finely carved, given a
hand rubbed
varnish finish, and fitted with a quality adapter carefully soldered to
a
custom breakout pcb, allowing
access to all 30 pins! Also includes
the stainless steel back support with vinyl bumpers to "grip" and
protect your device and all necessary mounting hardware.
Its all
ready to go. Just solder on the audio leads and an optional 5v
regulated power supply for charging. So simple.
Fits all current
iphones, ipod touch and nearly all of the
various versions of the
ipod even
with most "skin-type" cases ( the shuffle
and
the larger, really old
school ipods may not quite fit.)
